When will payment(s) post to my account? |
A:
Payments will post to your account on the day you
have scheduled unless you are scheduling a payment
past the cutoff time of 8:30 p.m. EST.

What is the cutoff time for entering payments? |
|
A:
The cutoff time is 8:30 p.m. EST. Payments scheduled
after 8:30 p.m. EST or on weekends and holidays
will be sent the next business day.

When will GMAC Mortgage deduct the funds from my
account(s)? |
A:
The funds will be deducted within two business days
of the payment posting to your GMAC Mortgage account.

Is OnLine Payment secure? |
A:
The security of our customers' accounts is our top
priority. GMAC Mortgage encrypts online information
and we also require each customer enrolling in our
program to have a unique password.

Can I use OnLine Payment Services if I am outside
of the United States? |
A: Online access outside of the United States
will be allowed as long as your bank/savings account
is in the United States and you have access to the
web.

Can I view my OnLine Payment History? |
A:
OnLine Payment Services allows you to view up to
6 months of account history and 6 months of your
Monthly Account Statement.

Can payments be cancelled? |
A:
Payments can be cancelled up until 4:30 p.m. EST
on the day a deduction is scheduled to be completed.

Can future payments be scheduled? |
A:
Future payments can be scheduled up to 6 months
in advance. If a payment change occurs due to an
escrow or principal and interest adjustment, an
email will be sent advising you to complete an adjustment
on your next scheduled amount.

How will I know my payment was received? |
A:
You will receive an email when your payment is applied
to your GMAC Mortgage accounts. Also, the Payment History OnLine will
reflect a 'Completed' status.

How do I change my payment amount? |
A:
To change the payment amount, access the OnLine
Service Home Page and select Modify a Pending Payment.

If a payment is cancelled, how will I know a payment
was not sent? |
A:
If you cancel a payment your payment status on the
history will reflect 'Cancelled.'

What date do I put in the scheduled date field?
|
A:
For On Demand payments the date you enter on the
Schedule Payments screen should be the date you
would like the payment to post to your mortgage
accounts.

What accounts can I use to pay my mortgage? |
|
A:
You can use either your savings, checking, or
money market accounts. Credit card payments will
not be accepted.
